Hi, I’m Rachel Sacks, a writer in New York City. I’m currently a part-time wellness reporter for The New York Post covering a wide range of health topics.
I also work as a freelance writer pitching and writing assigned trending and evergreen stories, and as a content writer for telehealth, ecommerce, and hospitality brands such as Hims & Hers, Ro, and Healf.
I also write the Everyday Athletes Substack, sharing real-world stories on those who are passionate about sports or physical activities without being at the professional level.

I’ve had the opportunity to interview world-class athletes like Katie Ledecky, report breaking news on Lindsey Vonn’s ACL injury before the 2026 Olympics, write about groundbreaking changes around women’s health, and share personal essays.
Working as a journalist, especially in health and wellness, I aim to separate fact from fiction so my readers walk away with all their questions answered. And no matter the outlet, I’ve always loved telling a story.
When I’m not writing, I may be on a bike ride, exploring the city, trying a new recipe, reading, or fighting the urge to take home every dog I see. And despite being proficient in AP and Chicago Manual styles, I’m a fan of the Oxford comma.
I have dual Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Art History from Miami University (the one in Ohio, not Florida.)
Whether you need someone to craft compelling health and wellness articles, create SEO-friendly content, or write marketing copy that converts, I’d love to help! Don’t hesitate to contact me here or at racheljsacks@gmail.com.
